Job Title : Optical Engineer

Location : Poland, Warsaw
Our facility in Poland is responsible for producing high-quality optical products used in various industries, including defense, telecommunications, medical devices, and industrial systems. We are seeking a talented Optical Engineer to join our team and contribute to our cutting-edge production of optical components.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and development of optical components and systems, including lenses, prisms, and mirrors.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure precision in the manufacturing process.
  • Perform optical simulations and analysis to optimize design specifications.
  • Conduct tolerance analysis and ensure products meet strict quality standards.
  • Oversee the assembly, alignment, and testing of optical systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, and manufacturing) to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Contribute to research and development initiatives for new products.
  • Support customers by providing technical insights and solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in optical design and engineering.
  • Proficiency with optical design software (e.g., Zemax, Code V, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of optical materials(Germanium, Silicon, CaF2, ZnSe, etc.) and coatings.
  • Experience with metrology equipment and techniques (e.g., interferometry, spectrometry).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes for optical components.
  • Ability to troubleshoot optical systems and propose design modifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with infrared optics and laser systems.
  • Familiarity with quality standards ( ISO 9001, etc.) and certifications.
  • Experience in the mass production of optical components.
