Optical IR Substrates
  1. Germanium (Ge) :  high refractive index and transparency in the infrared spectrum, excellent thermal conductivity,  ideal for use in thermal imaging systems and infrared optics
  2. Silicon (Si) : broad transmission range in the infrared spectrum, high mechanical strength and durability, suitable for applications requiring precise optical components, such as spectroscopy and sensing
  3. Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) : high optical transmission in the mid-infrared range, low absorption coefficient, well-suited for use in CO2 laser optics and infrared imaging systems.
  4. Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) : excellent transmission in the ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) regions, low refractive index and dispersion, suitable for ultraviolet lithography, spectroscopy, and IR imaging.
